Please reach out to your Elo support contact for any additional questions or to request access to a direct download of this update.
New features and enhancements:
- Introduced EloViewHomeSDK 2.0 with synchronous API support for Kotlin ViewModels, improving scalability, readability, and ease of integration while allowing coexistence with the previous SDK.
- Added an API to Peripheral Connect for M60 devices to retrieve the serial number of the built-in scanner.
- Added full support for NFC LED light control on Elo Pay 22-inch devices and included more system libraries.
- Added support for NFC-enabled URL push from Elo Pay 22-inch devices to smartphones, improving interoperability across Android and iOS devices.
- Added support for Google keyboard on the secondary display for Elo Standard devices, allowing greater flexibility for customer applications.
- Resolved an issue where the on-screen keyboard appeared scrunched to the left side of the screen on secondary displays when the primary device’s orientation changed.
- Resolved an issue where an app failed to install during a network disruption but remained in 'In-progress' status instead of displaying a 'Failed' status icon.
- Resolved an issue where an invisible navigation bar appeared when swiping up from the bottom of the screen, preventing interaction with interface elements.
- Improved file signing and integrity checks on Elo Pay devices, enhancing security by restricting access to the Elo Pay SDK Service and refining payment key management.
- Enhanced Delayed Content Deployment to ensure content is deployed as soon as the device comes online if it was offline at the scheduled deployment time.
- Resolved an issue where devices entered a boot loop after updating to Android 12, requiring a factory reset to recover.
- Updated the default NFC LED behavior to be ON, with APIs available for customization.
- Resolved an issue where the EloView Home SDK was unable to retrieve the Ethernet MAC address on Android 12 devices due to permission restrictions.
- Added support for automatically granting USB permissions during the provisioning process in Prestage, eliminating the need for a standalone APK.
- Resolved an issue where the Z30 CFD occasionally failed to wake from sleep when powered on using the hardware button, causing the screen to remain black.
As always, your devices will never prompt for an update or auto-update. Once the update is available, devices can be updated from the EloView Portal or at the device-level from the EloView Control Panel. Other MDM users can leverage Auto and Manual Update feature of Elo OEMConfig to update the devices.
